U.S. $2 Trillion Stimulus Relief Package
America’s government owing to the coronavirus pandemic has been forced to prepare a stimulus package worth $ 2 trillion to mitigate the effect of the pandemic on the economy.
The $2 trillion stimulus package was passed earlier in the house and believed to be the largest in the history of the United States by voice vote, which measures if more lawmakers shout for “aye” or “nay” on whether to support it.
The plan was unanimously approved by the Senate on Wednesday to enable one-time payment to citizens, strengthen unemployment insurance, additional health-care funding, loans, and grants to businesses to deter layoffs.
The relief package bill was described by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as mitigation of the pandemic’s destruction, predicting Congress will draft more plans to aid in recovery.
