Blockchain for data company Flare has partnered with the Avascan Block Explorer team to launch Flarescan, a comprehensive web explorer explicitly designed for the Flare ecosystem.

In a press release shared with Coinspeaker on October 4, the company said the new block explorer is designed with a keen focus on detail and user-friendliness, incorporating all the impressive features of Avascan.

Flarescan Scheduled for Launch on October 16

According to the company, the new blockchain explorer is scheduled to debut later this month on October 16.

Upon launch, the tool will become essential software for navigating the Flare network, and it is available both on the Routescan block explorer platform and via flarescan.com.

The block explorer will offer users seamless access to a wealth of data spanning all facets of the Flare network, including the Flare and Songbird mainnets and the Coston and Coston2 testnets.

Additionally, the company said that users could anticipate a feature-rich experience that allows them to peruse transaction histories, check address balances, follow the token flow, monitor network health, and scrutinize the network block by block when launched.

For developers looking to integrate blockchain data into their applications, Flarescan will also offer a developer API, simplifying the process of harnessing blockchain insights.

“Flare is committed to providing builders with a quality development experience, and the block explorer is a very important part of that. FlareScan will be accessible to everyone while also providing the in-depth insights that developers require,” said Hugo Philion, co-founder and CEO of Flare.

Flarescan to Launch with Full Support for C-Chain

The company said:

“Flarescan’s holistic view of the Flare ecosystem means that both the C-Chain, where the majority of transactions occur and the P-Chain, pivotal for staking activities, will be seamlessly accessible to developers.”

During its launch later this month, Flarescan will initially offer full support for the C-Chain and basic support for the P-Chain.

Additionally, the tool will also provide live staking analytics.

The company will begin the rollout of the full-fledged P-Chain support and historical staking analytics later in November.

Commenting on the latest collaboration, Giacomo Barbieri, a representative of the Avascan team, described the new partnership as the next step for the Flare ecosystem.

“Flarescan is the next step in Avascan’s journey in servicing blockchain developers with a high-quality explorer that will continuously improve on features, speed, user and developer experience,” said he.
