Users of Apple‘s products have got used to the fact that the American tech giant surprises with new developments quite often. Today, the company has introduced its new device – AirPods Pro, wireless earbuds that feature active noise cancellation and promise perfect sounding.

According to the data provided by the company’s press release, the upgraded AirPods Pro equipped with an outward-facing microphone that detects external sound and makes the earbuds extremely useful while sitting in airplanes. An inbuilt inward-facing microphone is sensitive to undesired sound inside users’ ears, which is also eliminated with anti-noise. To know what is going on around them, users can just switch to transparency mode that will let them hear the surroundings. This is provided by an H1 chip designed by Apple. As the company ensures, the level of noise cancellation is adjusted up to 200 times per second.

Adaptive EQ, inbuilt in AirPods Pro, automatically tunes music to the shape of users’ ears for a positive, consistent listening experience.

As for the design of the device, it is different from AirPods. Each new earbud has three different sizes of soft, flexible silicone ear tips that match to each individual ear. With an innovative vent system, AirPods Pro equalize pressure and keep discomfort to a minimum. Besides, the device is protected from sweat and water, which is possible due to a special mesh microphone port that refines call clarity when it is windy.

Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, shared his opinion:

“AirPods are the best-selling headphones in the world. The one-tap setup experience, incredible sound and iconic design have made them a beloved Apple product, and with AirPods Pro, we’re taking the magic even further. The new in-ear AirPods Pro sound amazing with Adaptive EQ, fit comfortably with flexible ear tips and have innovative Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode. We think customers are going to love this new addition to the AirPods family.”

Users can enjoy four and a half hours of continuous listening. But the extra battery is enough for around 24 hours of total listening time. By the way, the wireless charging case now has a rectangular shape.

The sale of AirPods Pro starts tomorrow, on October 30. Initially, the device will be designed in white color only. The device costs $249. Those who want to get the device can order it on the official company’s website. Another option is purchasing AirPods Pro in the Apple Store app in the US and more than 25 other countries and regions. Shipping to brick and mortar stores starts tomorrow.
