LONDON, United Kingdom., March. 18, 2020 — London-based cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform StormGain has launched a new trading competition that gives StormGain traders the chance to compete for a share of a $100,000 prize pool. This represents the largest trading competition ever launched by a cryptocurrency exchange.
StormGain’s ‘Coin Competition’ will see users demonstrate their market knowledge and trading skills by trading on their StormGain demo account. All StormGain customers have access to 50,000 Tether (USDT) in test money in their demo account which can be used to open trades, speculate on the market and try out the StormGain trading features with absolutely no risk.
To participate in the promotion, customers will need to join the contest to unlock their 50,000 USDT demo account. Customers will then be able to trade any of the available demo markets with as much as 200x leverage available for some trading pairs.
Following registration, all demo trades completed during the competition period will be tallied and updated to the online scoreboard each hour. Once the competition ends, the top 500 customers will share a mix of USDT prizes and bonus rewards, with the player in the first place set to win almost 6,000 USDT.
The competition will run between March 13, 2020, and April 9, 2020 (9 PM GMT) and the results will be announced within seven working days of the tournament end date.
At the end of the competition period, the 500 customers that achieve the best results using their 50,000 USDT in play funds will receive a fraction of the prize pool. Competition participants are automatically ranked every hour based on their aggregate profit from trades made during the competition period. An additional 3,410 USDT will also be distributed based on a random lottery to winners placing between 101st and 500th in the trading competition.
For maximum transparency, StormGain provides a regularly updated list of the current best performers, allowing participants to easily track their position and expected reward.
