Messi Says PSG is a Possibility

The Argentine captain is now looking for a new club with multiple sources hinting that Messi is getting ready for a possible move to France to join his former Barca team-mate Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain.

An emotional Messi also noted during the conference today that nothing has been closed yet, but a move to PSG is a possibility, and he is in talks with the French side.

“Paris Saint-Germain is a possibility, yes. At the moment nothing is confirmed, I received a lot of calls after the Barcelona statement. We’re talking about it,” he said.

PSG Fan Token Gained 50% After Messi’s Rumor

Following the transfer whispers that Paris Saint-Germain is close to signing a deal with Messi, the club’s fan token $PSG surged by almost 50%, with the price moving from $29 to over $44 within the last 24 hours. According to CoinGecko, the coin has actually retraced slightly now, but it’s still more than 20% up.

$PSG was launched in 2020 as a fan token through a partnership between Paris Saint-Germain and blockchain-based fan voting and rewards platform SOCIO.com. Fan tokens are digital assets that give holders voting rights and access to club rewards and experiences.
