Trump Highlights $25M Crypto Donations at Event
The best seats at the event were sold at $844,600, which was the maximum amount a single individual could contribute to the Trump 47 Committee. Specifically, Blackburn focused on such issues as responsible mining, cybersecurity, and the need for cooperation between the state and industry.
Ro Khanna and Wiley Nickel were Democratic Representatives who expressed support for reasonable regulation and called for cross-party collaboration concerning the blockchain. Although Vice President Kamala Harris did not attend, her office seemed to have a more positive attitude toward cryptocurrencies than the president’s policy.
