Crypto Finance Conference Returns to St. Moritz in January 2021 with Speakers from Winklevoss Capital, Swiss National Bank, Ledger, the European Parliament, and More

Crypto Finance Conference, the most relevant digital asset and blockchain conference for investors, will return to the Swiss Alps of St. Moritz from 20th – 22nd January 2021, for its fourth annual in-person event. Confirmed speakers thus far include Anthony Pompliano, Morgan Creek Digital Assets; Eva Kaili, European Parliament; Thomas Moser, Swiss National Bank; Meltem Demirors, CoinShares; Pascal Gauthier, Ledger; Jane Lippencott, Winklevoss Capital; Philippe Bekhazi, XBTO; and more.

CfC St. Moritz will prioritize the health and safety of attendees with a comprehensive COVID-19 strategy. The strategy, which is available on the conference website, outlines the measures for pre-event and on-site testing, mandates on face masks, strict cleaning and disinfecting policies, social distancing rules, use of the SwissCovid app for contact and symptom tracing, and a maximum event capacity of 250 people, in line with Federal Office of Public Health requirements.

Nicolo Stoehr, CEO of CfC St. Moritz, said,

“This conference is one of the most important annual events for investors and decision makers in the traditional finance and digital asset industries. The high, unbroken interest from participants and the commitment of top-level speakers and partners shows us that demand for such an event format is unabated. We believe that physical encounters and personal exchanges are more necessary than ever and will be possible under strict hygiene rules. The challenges posed by COVID-19 require additional efforts, which we are happy to take on. My team and I will make every effort to hold the conference under strict safety measures in close collaboration with the health authorities.”

The 2021 conference will host keynote speeches, fireside-chats, and panel discussions on topics including crypto regulation, central bank digital currencies and stablecoins, challenges and opportunities of the industry, and digital assets investment strategies. Ledger will be the leading partner for the conference, joined by PwC Switzerland as a strategic partner. Other partners include Sygnum Bank AG, XBTO Group, Stablehouse, Maerki Baumann & Co. AG, InCore Bank AG, the University of Basel, and the Kanton Graubünden.

Pascal Gauthier, CEO at Ledger, said,

“CfC St Moritz 2021 will provide the industry’s top investors and innovators with the opportunity to take stock of the developments from the previous year and their impact on the crypto asset space. 2020 has brought huge challenges for traditional financial markets in the fallout of the Coronavirus pandemic. Investors have viewed digital assets as a hedge against volatility, marking a new era of maturity for cryptocurrencies. CfC St. Moritz is not only a highly exclusive networking event for thought leaders, but also a chance to reset. The event will no doubt define the industry’s trends and direction for the year to come, as it has done in the past.”

Tobias Reichmuth, Chairman of the Board of CfC St. Moritz, said,

“Digital assets are being brought into the fold of the world’s financial markets. Those in uncertain positions have turned to us for guidance on entering into these alternative assets and the true potential of digital currencies is emerging. CfC St. Moritz offers a forum for collaboration and idea generation at this turning point in our industry. We are at the forefront of this cutting edge technology, providing solutions for so many of the problems highlighted in 2020, particularly as COVID-19 has reshaped our understanding of the financial world. I am proud to be part of the CfC St. Moritz and look forward to sharing my insights in St Moritz in January.”
