Wie unter anderem VICE Magazin berichtet, sind in den vergangenen Tagen immer wieder seltsame Antennen installiert worden. Das interessante daran, niemand weiss, für was diese Antennen genutzt werden. Die Behörden starteten nun via Facebook einen Aufruf, wer Infos hat, soll sich melden:
“Our Trails team and Foothills rangers have found some unauthorized solar panel towers in the Foothills,” Salt Lake City Public Lands said in a post on Facebook. “If you have information about these towers or who they belong to, please call our office at (801) 972-7800 so we can return them back to their owner.”
Die Antennen werden nun abgebaut:
Die Installationen bestehen jeweils aus einer Akkubox, einem Solarpanel und der Antenne. Eine Verbindung zu einem Mining-Projekt, wie einige vermuten:
