The conspiracy theories are uncountable on the internet with so much misinformation on people attempting to fight the virus as well as its origin. Bill Gates in the interview was amazed that people believe these conspiracies. He, therefore, assures that people are going to get educated about this in the next year.
“We’re going to have to get educated about this over the next year and understand .. how does it change peoples’ behavior and how should we have minimized this?” he said.
Bill Gates also lauded the collaboration of Fauci and Francis Collins, Head of the US National Institute of Health. According to him, they are smart and wonderful people, and he looks forward to them speaking the truth and working effectively under the new administration.
He expressed his excitement about the team selected by Joe Biden, the New US President to tackle the health issues. Not taking anything away from the effort of the former US President Donald Trump, Gates felt that they were the only sane people in the government. He also lauded the decision to rejoin the World Health Organization.
Bill Gates has not been the only target of the COVID-19 conspiracies. It was earlier said that the US military exported COVID-19 to China. Other social media posts also linked the COVID-19 to the 5G network while others also claimed it was created as a biological weapon.
