Apron Network has successfully completed its private sale round. It saw participation by companies such as Republic, AU21 Capital, CMS Holdings, Altonomy, Monday Capital, DFG, NGC Ventures, Vega Ventures, PAKA, Candaq, Digital Renaissance, and so forth.

Currently, the team behind Apron Network is even looking for active developers of decentralized applications (dApps) who wish to build their services on Heco’s ecosystem to offer them the full node services for free.

It’s worth noting that the Heco node service that’s provided by Apron Network is similar to those of Ethereum or Infura. It allows developers in the ecosystem to use the node’s API and develop different blockchain dApps quickly and with ease. With time, Apron Network will improve the product and continue to iterate on Heco node services.

The Apron Network was conceived back in 2020 with the aim to create a decentralized infrastructure service network that’s based on blockchain technology and complete the matching between node operator services and developer service requirements.

For example, on February 22nd, Mask Network’s RPC provides, QuikNode, went down due to overloaded traffic. QuikNode would limit the usage even when using the designated plan and doesn’t provide load balancing. There are many SPs (individuals, teams, and companies) on the Apron Network who provide Ethereum node services. Developers can also use Ethereum node services through Apron Network. Load balancing can be done automatically through the Apron SDK, or they can be manually switched at any time.

The issue was remedied quickly, and there was no real hard fork, the incident did sound the alarm in the Web 3.0 world. After all, nodes are among the most important considerations when it comes to decentralization.

With all of the above in mind, Apron Network came into being and applied for a Web3 Open Grant. The experts have since seen the potential and are reportedly looking forward to working with the team behind Apron Network to facilitate positive iterations to the Web 3.0 world.

Going forward, the team plans to integrate various services, including on-chain data indexing service, quotation, random numbers, and so forth. The team will also focus on Polkadot’s ecosystem and provide similar services to other public chains in the future.
