Perhaps unsurprisingly, they are also a great time, especially when everyone is so optimistic. As 2019 comes to a close, there are still opportunities to attend such conferences. Here are four that you should consider adding to your agenda.
Vegas Blockchain Week
Taking place October 29-31 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Vegas Blockchain Week has become a can’t miss conference. The event features thousands of cryptocurrency and blockchain experts who engage with attendees in a variety of formats.
The conference focuses on the industry’s growth and innovation, and it features a lineup of keynote speakers including representatives from Oracle and Microsoft.
Vegas Blockchain Week also features Crypto’s Official Poker Tournament held at Mike Tyson Mansion as well as CryptoWeen, an annual party taking place at Kaos Nightclub.
San Francisco Blockchain Week
San Francisco Blockchain Week has brilliant metaphorical resonance, taking place in Silicon Valley’s backyard. The event, held October 28th through November 4th, is packed with speakers and events that will delight crypto enthusiasts.
The event will feature a series of fireside chats with prominent industry leaders like Justin Kan, Kevin Chou, Dan Morehead, Mike Novogratz, Chris Larsen, and Michael Arrington.
Of course, the event isn’t all business. The team behind TRON, a blockchain operating system, is throwing an invite-only after-party at a San Francisco speakeasy. Craft cocktails, a whiskey tasting station, and a great collection of guests will all be present. What’s more, a TRON taco truck will be giving away free meals to conference attendees on October 31st and November 1st.
Taken together, the guest list and the planned activities are indicative of the general ethos of San Francisco Blockchain Week.
BlockShow Asia
Taking place in Singapore on November 14th and 15th, BlockShow Asia is an event that’s all about decentralization. The conference focuses on platform development, financing, trading, gaming, and artificial intelligence.
Like all the best crypto conferences, Blockchain Asia features an array of presenters representing some of the biggest names in the crypto and blockchain space.
With so many topics to cover, organizers have divided the event into categories, making it possible for attendees to identify the topics that matter most to them and expertly curate their own 2-day schedule.
Fintech World Forum
Few topics are as pertinent as fintech, and cryptocurrencies are at the forefront of this sector. Therefore, Fintech World Forum, taking place in London on November 18th and 19th, is packed with presenters. Fintech World Forum 2019 will feature representatives from IBM, Mastercard, HSBC, Citi, and other corporations.
In total, 25 speakers will cover some of the most important issues facing today’s crypto investors, including crypto as payments, Bitcoin and barriers to finance, and the future of finance.
Fintech World Forum will be one of the last big blockchain and crypto conferences to take place in 2019. So far, it’s been an incredible year for cryptocurrencies, and these events are both an opportunity to celebrate that progress and to build the connections that ensure its proliferation well into the future.
Whether you’re partying at a speakeasy or participating in a panel discussion, there will be something for everyone at all these events.
