Zaimella Will Provide Discounts to Crypto Users

CEO of Zaimella USA Humberto Sanchez explained in an interview:

Zaimella was founded on the belief that quality personal care products should be accessible to everyone. Inspired by bitcoin 2022, we believe the answer to ‘So what?’ concerning bitcoin and other virtual currencies is ultimately lower prices for essential goods for the world’s consumers, especially for lower income groups.

This is a huge step forward in the crypto space in that not only does it provide people with discounts they need to combat rising inflation and the costs of goods, but it also will persuade more people to get involved in the crypto space and pay with digital assets. Initially, bitcoin and many of its altcoin cousins were built to serve as payment methods for goods and services.

They were designed to push things like fiat currencies, credit cards, and checks to the side, but this has been a relatively slow journey given that they all come with heavy volatility. It’s impossible to predict when the prices of these coins will go down, and as a result, many stores and companies have said “no” to crypto payments out of fear of losing profits. To a degree, we can’t blame them.

Consider the following scenario: a person walks into a store and buys $50 worth of merchandise with bitcoin. For one reason or another, the store’s managers don’t exchange the BTC for fiat right away and 24 hours go by. The price of bitcoin, in that time, goes down, and that $50 turns into $30. The customer gets to keep everything he or she bought, but the store has lost money in the end. Is that a fair situation? Not everyone thinks so.

This Technology Keeps Expanding

That’s what makes moves like these so significant. Sanchez explained:

Virtual currencies such as bitcoin and blockchain technologies in general have the potential to eliminate wasteful steps and transaction costs that occur every day as goods get produced and shipped around the world. Zaimella is always striving to find the best ways to keep our commitment to make quality personal care accessible, so we are happy to announce that beginning May 1st, 2022, all payments by US customers made in bitcoin will receive an instant ten percent discount vs payments made in US dollars.

Founded in Ecuador’s capital city of Quito, Zaimella has been in business since 1995. It has become a leader in the field of non-woven family care products such as diapers, pet pads, and adult incontinence, and it also operates the only diaper manufacturing plant in Florida.
