“All ambitious companies are facing the same challenge: how to find the competent Blockchain developers that the market so badly demands”
says Laurent Meyer, CEO of Propulsion Academy.
“For the last 4 years, we’ve contributed 400 new talents to the local industry through our Software Development and Data Science programs. It’s now time to do the same with Blockchain. Looking around, there are very limited options to learn the right technical skills. Many of the existing programs give you the global picture but stop short of the programming part. We take it one-step further with a goal-oriented approach.”
Requiring some basic programming knowledge, the Blockchain Program gives participants an in-depth hands-on understanding of how Blockchains work. Topics cover the technical aspects of Bitcoin and Ethereum, cryptography fundamentals, the mechanics of transactions, blocks, wallets and address derivation, Proof of Work and consensus algorithms, Solidity smart contracts and a bit of economics, monetary theory and history of money for a well-rounded understanding. The first session of the course will take place from April 13 to May 20, 2021, completely online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 19:00.
“I am happy to share the next step in my Bitcoin and blockchain developer journey as an educator, providing my experience as an open-source blockchain contributor and software engineer in the Bitcoin and Ethereum ecosystem”
says Tom Vrba, course instructor and Blockchain Developer.
“The format is ideal for those with jobs: two short evenings a week for 6 weeks with some work in-between. Most importantly, participants get real-time support and are not treated as numbers as in a traditional online program.”
